So we are back from a family wedding in San Diego California. We were hoping to escape the heat, but guess what?, they were in a heat wave too! On my return back I heard on the news about the dry heat and foundations. Please watch your home foundations for cracking.
With the on-going drought situation the dirt is drying away from our foundations and could cause foundation cracking. Unfortunately, this is not covered by home insurance (wear and tear not a sudden occurrence) so you may need to start adding water around the edge of your foundation even on a daily basis. Check with a local contractor (Unique Transformations or McFarlane Constructions) may be able to help) if you are at all concerned.
