About Harvey:

Dr. Harvey Kitzman is a Nutraceutical Consultant based in the Austin area. He graduated with a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Florida in 1995, and has received advanced training as a nutraceutical consultant. He started his business based on the results that he himself received with nutraceuticals, improving his overall general health. His business is based in Austin, TX, and he has clients all over the country. Isotonic-Capable Nutritional Supplements:
Isotonic-Capable Nutritional Supplements offer a highly superior method for delivering vital nutrients into the bloodstream for maximum absorption. In comparison to pill, the nutrients provided by Isotonic Capable Nutritional Supplements are available to the body in a shorter period of time, and due to their isotonic state, are more readily absorbed by the body compared to pills.

How does the Isotonic Capable delivery system work?
Micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) are most commonly consumed in tablet or capsule form. These solid forms must be broken down in the stomach and the active ingredients (micronutrients) must then dissolve in the gastric fluids in the stomach. When the active ingredients have dissolved, the body must adjust the concentration of the stomach contents to become an isotonic solution before the contents can proceed into the small intestine for absorption. Isotonic Capable supplements arrive at the small intestine in this isotonic state and are immediately released into the bloodstream with maximal absorption rate and increased bioavailability in minutes.

Isotonic Capable products are not encapsulated or compacted into a “form”. There is no need for fillers, binders, coatings, lubricants, disintegrators or artificial coloring. Genetic Testing:
I use a genetic testing kit that analyzes 19 different genes, which research shows can benefit from nutrition. The 19 genes are in the areas of heart health, bone health, insulin sensitivity, antioxidation/detoxification, and inflammation. The client completes the in-depth lifestyle questionnaire, and sends it in to the lab along with samples of cheek cells obtained from the insides of their mouths. The DNA is sequenced and these genes are analyzed for any variations in gene sequence that could affect the functioning of the affected enzymes. With this information, a nutritional supplement formulary is designed for you that is specifically tailored to your DNA results. This truly is specific supplementation that we call “the laser approach to guided nutrition”.

Weight Management:
I use a weight management based on low glycemic index eating. It centers on losing fat, rather than muscle. This system is designed as an educational system that helps clients learn how to eat correctly. The components of the system include a DVD education series, a low glycemic index cookbook, a daily journal containing recipes and exercises, and if needed, some nutritional supplements and meal replacements. Along with the other items I use, this weight management system has also been shown in scientific studies to be superior to other systems in the public domain in terms of weight, percent of body fat, and inches lost and kept off. Hi Dr. Kitman, My name is Chrisie. I was in your Health and Nutrition class at the University of Phoenix. We briefly talked about nodules and goiters. I have an appointment December 22 to have another ultrasound done to see if my goiter has grown. I think it has, I am having a hard time swallowing and I always feel like there is something in my throat. I remember you telling me you may have something that can help me. Can you tell me about it?
